Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings
All hirers and users of The Hub are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Use as set out from time to time.
Those wishing to book the facilities must complete the official booking process
No activity can commence until official confirmation of the booking is received by the applicant from Playfinder.com
Pre-booked facilities may not be transferred by the hirer to any other person/group without prior approval from the management of The Hub
The contact person(s) named in the online form will be the person with whom all official communication from The Hub management will take place
Any changes in the details of the group organiser/contact person must be communicated to The Hub management immediately
The person named in the booking will be responsible for the group and participants, including full payment, behavior, and adherence to the Terms and Conditions of hire.
All bookings include the time required to prepare, erect, dismantle, and remove equipment.
Bookings for children under 18 must be made and supervised by someone aged 18 or over.
For bookings involving children under 18, The Hub requires a copy of the DBS check, Insurance policy and Safeguarding policy before the booking is confirmed
A session/class risk assessment is required for all bookings.
2. Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 30 days' notice of cancellation must be given in writing to info@risecommunityhub.org or cancelled via the 'my account' section on your customer portal on www.playfinder.com
Failure to do so, or failure to show up at the booking time, will result in the group being charged for the hire of the facility
Bookings paid by Debit/Credit Card that require a refund will be refunded in full
The Hub management reserves the right to cancel bookings with no notice period and affected bookings will be refunded in full
3. State of Premises
Glass containers or bottles are not allowed in any areas
Smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere at The Hub
Chewing gum is not allowed at The Hub
Alcohol or drugs are not allowed at The Hub
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Money/valuables should be left in a secure area, not visible in open spaces
The Hub accepts no responsibility for items lost/stolen or for any damage, injury, or loss occurring on the premises
Damage to property, equipment, or facilities must be compensated by the responsible individual/group/organisation
All litter and waste generated must be disposed of and removed by the lead booking contact
Nails, hooks, adhesive tape, or pins must not be used on the walls, doors, or windows
Candles, except for minimal use on a celebration cakes permitted
No other naked flame / fireworks are to be used in The Hub
4. Code of Conduct
Activities that may cause offence or inconvenience to other patrons or neighbors will not be allowed
Special consideration must be given to neighbors near The Hub
Excessive noise or nuisance will not be tolerated, and offending users will be removed
Supervising personnel must be obeyed at all times
Non-acceptance of supervisory decisions or aggression towards them will result in removal from the premises and cancellation of future bookings
Only members/users associated with the booking are permitted in The Hub during the session
Children under 18 cannot be inside during a booked session unless part of the activity for which the booking was made
The Hub’s operational hours must be adhered to. • The Hub’s management decisions on use, operation, or closure are final
The Management Reserves the Right to:
Introduce, amend, or remove rules as required due to service needs or changing circumstances
Levy charges or fees as deemed appropriate and change them at their discretion
Refuse admission or continued use of the facilities to any person/group breaching these rules or whose behavior interferes with the safe operation of The Hub.
Close The Hub for maintenance, repairs, holidays, or other reasons, No claims for inconvenience or loss shall be made
By using The Hub, all persons accept the facilities are used at their own risk.
Hirers are responsible for administering first aid as necessary.
It is advised that users consult with a medical professional before participating in any physical activities.
